The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson

5.0

An actual Non-ARC review! So thank you only to Holly Jackson, for writing nothing but bangers.

The Reappearance of Rachel Price has an unpleasant protagonist, a weird gremlin love interest, and a messy, twisty story. I loved every second, but I was very ill when I tore my way through these pages.

The story follows Bel Price, whose mother went missing 16 years ago. While she’s in the middle of unwillingly participating in a documentary about her mother’s disappearance…
Well, the title spoils it; Rachel Price Reappears. And Bel doesn’t think she’s telling the truth about where she’s been all these years.

Holly Jackson is a master at writing engaging thrillers, writing plot twists that feel shocking but deserved, and characters that are unlikable but you still somehow root for.
