Quite enjoyable continuation of The Vellhor Saga, this one is back to the captivating intrigue, and interesting character development of books 1 and 2.

Like its brethren it suffers from various instances of heavily overused phrases, but meanwhile I am used to this being a thing within this saga. Still, it keeps it from being 5-star reads for me, as those 'testaments of', 'constant reminders', all those 'weights pressing down', and some 'kind of (often comforting) presence', 'anchors', and 'resolves' are not going unnoticed in my case. And in the last chapter the beacons are back, so many beacons [of hope] in just one chapter...

Regardless of my constant gripe with the not properly polished writing, I am looking forward to reading book 5, Dragon Fire, as soon as it comes out.

The story itself is great and I can highly recommend it to everyone who can handle - and enjoy - a multiple POV story, and nonchalantly overlook some minor technical writing issues.
