The story starts out promising, but ultimately leaves the reader feeling like they're along for 8 different rides, none of which matter too terribly much. 
The writing is amateur. I DNF'd at over 100 pages in and can say for certain at least 40 of those pages were unnecessary, descriptive fluff. 
The story is interesting enough, but nothing really feels important enough to get invested in, especially not the characters.
