entirely too violent to be a YA novel imo. like the trigger warnings do not even BEGIN to prepare you for the extreme sexual and physical violence present in this book. like it would be fine if it was just one scene, but there were at least four. on a scale from "fade to black" to "law and order svu episode" i would put this book at game of thrones. putting that aside, absolutely enthralling. my hands itch for the sequel that i know i have to wait another 5 months for.
