Dune by Frank Herbert

5 stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I might have fallen in love with Gurney Halleck.
I’m not typically a fantasy or sci-fi fan, but this one really drew me in. The story is extremely compelling, the type you don’t want to quit reading, even if it’s long past midnight.
The characters are genuinely interesting—I quickly developed a soft spot for Jessica and Halleck. This is one of the most important parts of a story for me.
The only downfall of this book was its rushed and disappointing ending. Other than that, I’m in love with it.
