Endo's sudden appearance in the last few panels is such a good setup for the next arc because it implies there's a mastermind controlling the recent events involving Bofurin and their neighboring allies and enemies. And we all know that this Endo character will not stop until Bofurin falls and Makochi in the state of destruction and chaos that will end up with them blaming the Furin boys.
