Koontz does an amazing job speaking in so many different characters' voices; however, I was kind of disappointed with this book. It was a decent story, but my disappointment comes from the type of story it is.

I had assumed it was going to be a sort of haunted house type novel. It turned out to be a story of, for lack of a better description, time travel and a possible future should things continue on their normal timeline.

This simply was just not the type of story I was looking for.
