The Office of Historical Corrections: A Novella and Stories by Danielle Evans
5.0
I’m always amazed when a short story is able to grab me, build a narrative, & have a satisfying ending in just a few short pages. Every short story in this collection did just that! Plus the Novella at the end was just excellent, one of my favorite reads of the year.
I’d recommend these stories regardless, but especially if you are looking to better understand racial issues & the kinds of racism black people have dealt with & continue to deal with in America.
