General Comments: No matter who you are, what age you are, what your belief system is, we are united by universal feelings and experiences. The four characters represent different parts of the same person; an inquisitive boy, an enthusiastic, but greedy mole, a withdraw and hurt fox, and a wise horse. Straight-forward, heartfelt conversations are exceptional in touching upon what life is, and its importance.

Favourite Quote: ‘‘What is the bravest thing you’ve ever said?’ Asked the boy. ‘Help,’ said the horse. ‘Asking for help isn’t giving up,’ said the horse. ‘It’s refusing to give up.’’
