I picked up this book as a bargain book for $3 on Book Outlet, expecting it to be a "read once, pass on to the next person" book. Needless to say, I'll be recommending it to every poet I know. The blend of poetic advice that everyone who's written has heard time and time again, folklore, and life lessons meshed in a way that I didn't even know was possible. I loved this book. It's definitely made to be read by poets, and I'm sure I'll be rereading it over and over again.
