Fatal Deception by April Hunt

5.0

This third installment was such a ride!

When a deadly virus is stolen from Isabel's lab, she is put in the care of Steele Ops, and one specific Steele brother, Rowan. Yes, the deadly virus portion of this story hit a little closer to home than some people will be comfortable with, but I hope you still dive in.

Both of our characters have forms of PTSD and Survivors Guilt, so please tread cautiously with this title if those can be triggers for you.

I loved the electric chemistry between Isabel and Rowan. The steam factor was too notch for me. This title had just enough suspense to make it believable, while also having a good balance with the romance part.

I also loved how their individual family units play into the story. It added a nice touch to the other parts, blending beautifully in concert with one another.

I have no complaints about this book. It fed my soul, was consumed in 2 sittings, and I cannot wait for more in this series.
