This was a hard read because this is the reality for Black and Brown young kids, teens and adults and I do not know how anyone can hear the fear, anxiety, though process when they encounter police and racism and not have empathy and also anger that wants you to push for change.

It should be part of high school required reading. The author did a great job adding in the legal information to help protect kids too which made me happy they have someone to give them the advice in a way that is easy to consume but also so incredibly sick because it has to be discussed.

CW: racism, police brutality
