Incredible use of words!
Ms. Grimes' mastery and art radiates throughout this book! She makes it seem so easy, so simple to say so much with so little! It's beautiful!
This novel in verse told a story with more imagery, voice, emotion, and weight than I expected!
I read another reviewer comment on how great it could be paired with Peter Reynolds, HAPPY DREAMER - so true!!!! AND it would also be a fantastic study/companion text with Pam Muñoz Ryan & Peter Sís' THE DREAMER!!
