I absolutely loved this one! It is no surprise how much I loved her Waybridge series and I was so giddy to know she has a hockey series out!
I definitely loved both characters. I enjoyed the pacing, the banter, the family dynamics. I loved it all. This is one of the rare good and clean hockey romance books but it doesn’t take away from all the swooning.
My one gripe is that I wish this whole thing with Jeremy was explored a little bit. He kept threatening her and saying she would regret it, but when it comes down to it, he never actually really did anything? He just made up more lies and yeah, that’s a bad thing to do but it just didn’t feel impactful enough.
Overall a good introduction to the series. Can’t wait for book 2 to come out. Reed Darling is an absolute darling!
