A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon

4.0

It took me a long while to read this book, but I enjoyed it a lot. Sitting with the world for such a long time was worthwhile to me. Although cutting a hundred and fifty pages or so wouldn't have gone amiss either. I liked that this was a prequel, and all the strong connections between the storylines were really interesting and made it more like one single narrative rather than three or four.
