Chameleon Assassin by BR Kingsolver

So much to unpackage in one book! This jumps you straight into the world and has you hooked from the start. I could do without the mini romance elements but hey that is what most people want. Loads of layers to the storytelling and well plotted. There was one spot I felt should have been obvious to the main character but past that it flowed nicely.
I am eager to see where this series is headed and hope there is more building on this world. Dystopian reads are always a fav and this blends nicely with that genre and urban fantasy. The mystery/thriller elements could stand alone but I really like them in this format.
I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the main narrator Hannah Hart. I don’t know how I feel about the male lines being done by another narrator. It is slightly jarring and takes me out of the story a bit. Definitely not what I am used to but I am willing to give it a fair chance and see how I feel about it as I listen to more of the series.
