This was exactly the type of book I needed this week. It's a hockey romance which I love and come on the penalty box scene!! Are you kidding me, it was everything. The brother's best friend vibes were absolutely IMACULATE. Faye and Kit were a perfect pairing and I think I liked them more than Hayes and Aeris even though I still loved them. I loved how protective Kit was and he was so incredibly swoony even when he was on his head a bit. This one also went into some heavier topics, especially with Faye, but I think they were handled so well, and it really gave the characters a chance to be incredibly vulnerable with each other. I loved the friendships this one brought out and I thought Faye and Hayes had some really important sibling moments. And oh my goodness, the spice!! I couldn't get enough and I am seriously obsessed with this couple. I can't believe it ended on such a cliffhanger, but I know the series isn't over yet which is a huge relief. Overall, this one blew me away and I'm so excited to read more of the Reapers. Thank you to Celeste Briars for sending me an e-ARC to read and review!
