I believe this series is still supposed to be ongoing, but I'm soft DNF-ing here. Depending on the premise of the next book, if ever released, I could still be swayed.

My main complaint with Book1 was that there was just too much going on, and somehow it got worse with this one.
Reading this felt like being dipped in lead paint in a church basement and then sitting for a calculus test when you can't make it past your times tables. The plot was nearly impossible to follow and I learned nothing while going through it, which is a downgrade from Book1.
Quite frankly, the religiosity was a major turn-off. Went way too hard in the sauce and never recovered well enough to make it worth it. I feel ickier after reading this.
