I had heard @authorchelseacurto speak about this book on a panel at Romance Con and after that plus a glowing review from @beccasbookspot I ignored my huge TBR and jumped in. And man it was SO worth it. Maverick Miller is my new book boyfriend. If he has one fan it is me. If he has zero friends, I'm dead. Truly this man is perfect, zero notes. And Emmy the FMC is just as awesome. We love a strong female character who shows vulnerability and is a badass glass ceiling breaker. Plus all the friendships (both the boys and the girls) are so positive and uplifting, it was so nice to read about supportive friend groups with no drama. And the SPICE. It's chef's kiss perfection folks. Literally cannot say enough good things about this. If the gushing doesn't convince you, after finishing Face Off I immediately purchased the next book Power Play. Seriously read this!
