What a great finale to a short book series! Short as in 4 big tombs! The non-stop momentum of the story was intoxicating. The battles scenes unlike anythin I've experienced before. I felt like I was there revited to every fight of life, or death. I did shed some years, but so worth them. Some were of loss, and others of relief.
I feel this debut of The Faithful and the Fallen has now become one of my top high-fantasy series, and John Gwynne a new favorite author of all time.
If you are looking for characters of substance, don't might multiple POV's, and yearn for intense battle scenes, this could be a series for you.
