pretty good, like the first one. i didn’t try very hard to figure out the mystery, though an astute reader could have pieced it together. it was definitely satisfying watching everything intertwine. my only gripe is with the way the romantic relationships were written; elements of them seemed a little too mature (in the sense of having significant life experience).
