Great book, having read the Chronicles of Nick series FIRST, I have to say there are quite a few inconsistancies between information in that series and this one. I understand this came first but even so much as how Nick has worked for Kyrian for 8 years but his father was killed in prison 11 years ago in this book vs Kyrian having saved Nick while his father is still plotting against him in the Chronicles series seems like a big difference. Also Nick being shot in the Chronicles books but had been stabbed in Night pleasures when Kyrian saved him. His mother still working as a dancer in Night Pleasures even though in Chronicles she has gotten a job at Sanctuary.
Overall a good book though
