One of the best books I've picked up in a while. Picked this up as a consolation library prize almost because I went to the library for Bunny and found this instead, but it was so so good! The prose is beautiful, gripping, so descriptive, such a page turner. The themes so interesting and original, the plot kept me on my toes. It's the besy execution of an unreliable narrator I've seen in a while. I often felt in a bit of a trance alongside Miranda while reading this. Will definitely be seeking out more of Mona's work
