This book was like a warm, cozy, hug and I loved it so much! The healing, the found family, the side-characters!! I could read a book on each of the side characters mentioned in this book because they were all such unique and well thought out characters (P.S this is me asking for other books with the side characters please and thank you 🤗)

I loved the journey the main character went through to heal. Having your entire world shifted, the work and who you are as a person forced to stop and change is SO HARD and Diamanti wrote the journey and expressed the emotional aspects of this character arc so well. While the main character is a veteran, I think anyone who has been forced to change their plans for their life can take something from this book and not only find comfort in the writing and story, but hopefully learn some things to help them in their daily lives as well (I know I did).

This was my first Z.S Diamanti book, but I have already pre-ordered the authors other trilogy and I can't wait to continue reading their works!
