Red Alert: An NYPD Red Mystery by Marshall Karp, James Patterson

4.0

I picked this book up in the shop at Centre Parcs but hadn’t read any if the others in the series - although have read lots of James Patterson.
This didn’t seem to matter as the purpose of NYPD RED is explained clearly enough, as is the relationship between the characters.
What I especially liked about this book is the number of cases the detectives are working on so the different plots coincide and overlap throughout the book.
I liked the ending too - it seemed fitting!
