I devoured this book. It reminded me a bit of the movie He’s Just Not That Into You. I was heartbroken for Holly in the first few chapters & I wasn’t sure how Kai would fit into her life after that tragedy. I was pleasantly surprised with how witty & how much banter there was. I love a good back and forth between the characters! Kai was the broody, sexy type from the jump & he has an equally tragic past. They both needed to work on their self Love & I felt that through the book. It was funny, heartwarming and sweet. I loved every page!
