Phenomenal. Angie Thomas is such a skilled author. She crafts such great environments, and characters, with a plot line so well written to help move everything along. I loved this book because it deals with such important issues such as race, economic instability, family, loss and so many others in a way that is accessible. I also appreciate how this book talks about passive racism that people of color experience. Everyone should read this.
