I can't decide what star rating to give this book yet, but I loved it.
I was very weary going into it as I didn't really understand why we needed a book about Carrie after Malibu Rising, nor have I ever really cared for tennis.
I was so wrong to think I wouldn't like this. As usual TJR has written an amazingly strong and inspiring female lead who has goes through tremendous heartbreak and character development.
Our supporting cast is made up of equally strong and interesting characters. The relationships are well built and the action doesn't stop.
The tennis playing is written in a way that kept me engaged and interested each time I picked up the book.
This is definitely a favourite from TJR for me, and I'm upset at the news this is likely the last book of hers in this style. I am excited to continue reading her books, no matter what route she goes down next
