I honestly don't know how I haven't learned about this book much earlier, but I am glad that I did now. In fact, I'm actually glad that I read this book now as an adult rather than as a teen. This is one of the best series I have ever read, and not once did it not make me just want to run around, screaming, around my room. It is suspenseful, it is epic. It took all my expectations and all the tropes I know and beat it up, burned it to the ground, mixed the ashes into cement, and created a large monument to my awe of this series. I was worried that it wouldn't have a happy ending, but it did. It's not completely happy, but it's enough. It is a fitting ending to such a dark, epic series.
