As an avid Ruby Dixon reader, this was actually the book I was most nervous to pick up. I really love the IPB and Icehome series and liked all the Corsairs before this one though. And because I'm a completionist, I picked us up even though I felt very uncertain about the triad angle.

Fellow readers, it was amazing. One of my top favorite Ruby Dixon books! Because of the triad, communication is key to successful relationships and all the characters lean into that for the most part. What they don't lean into did not bother me in the ways that I usually hate.

Super spicy. And nice character development. Plus space adventures and 7' blue aliens? Yes.
