Great Goddesses: Life Lessons from Myths and Monsters by Nikita Gill

hopeful inspiring reflective medium-paced

4.0

I've found that, while I don't particularly care for prose poetry, I have to give massive props to Nikita Gill. The way she uses poetry as a whole to create stories is amazing. Her recreations of modern Greek Gods aren't very original or inspired, but they way she talks about them and through them made me glad to read Great Goddesses. If you prefer traditional poetry, I certainly wouldn't choose this, but if you want something a bit more simple (in a good way!) then for sure pick this up—or, really, anything from Nikita Gill.
