This is a really light-hearted look at the zombie apocalypse - the kind we all secretly fantasise about, in which we're free and heroic and somehow also dressed in clean clothes and still able to play video games. It's a fun ride, though fairly shallow, and there's not actually that much zombie action in it! It's an interesting set-up for a longer series, and I'm curious to see if it maintains the light-hearted approach or if seeing our main character become hardened will be part of the arc. I almost hope it isn't. This was a lot of fantasist fun.
