Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston
5.0
This series keeps getting better. Ashley Poston writes fantastic teen romances with enough fairytale elements to keep the original story in tact and enough geeky references to make any cosplayer or congoer instantly recognize their people.
Spinning right off from book 2, Ms. Poston gives us a story about Starfield's newest villain, bad boy Vance Rains. He's been exiled to a mansion in a small town to lay low from his most recent scandal. Booklover and Starfield fan Rosie Thorn accidentally stumbles into the mansion and ends up ruining a 1st edition book. The two are tasked with sorting the homeowner's newly acquired library to pay for their their respective debts. Excellent enemies to lovers plot for any fangirl or boy.
Ms. Poston is excellent at queer representation in her books and at pulling in past characters for cameos. The romance is sweet and teen appropriate, but still engaging for adults. I'm a big fan of this series.
