“The Seven Year Slip” is a beautifully written magical realism take on the wrong timing trope. I absolutely fell in love with Clementine and Iwan. Though I have to confess I have no idea how to pronounce Iwan’s name. Clementine and her aunt Analea’s love of books and travel made this book so fun to read. I thought Analea’s death and Clementine’s grief were handled perfectly. Iwan’s nickname for Clementine, Lemon, is so cute, and I love their banter. “The Seven Year Slip” is well worth the read.
