My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry by Fredrik Backman

5.0

I am a self proclaimed fairytale junkie. Give me a princess and a dragon, I’m there.

I loved this book because it touched on some really serious topics, but in such a light hearted way. I loved that it was from the point of view of an almost eight year old, but not told in the first person perspective so it didn’t sound like you were reading the inner thoughts of a seven year old.

It felt a little long, and might not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it.
