I am finding more and more that I am not a fan of YA, and this one definitely reads as such. The concept is very intriguing but I found myself bored with the presentation. I had a hard time following the descriptions and getting immersed into the futuristic Edinburgh. 

Overall, I can see where this would appeal to many other readers but I am just not the right audience for it.
