A children's adventure in 1940s Cornwall, fun for kids and adults too. It's no Swallows and Amazons though.
From a modern standpoint, two of the siblings keep hitting other and that's seen as fine, and the only Black character is objectionable, which seems racist, and the danger an adult places the kids in is obviously not okay.
