Thank you Rebekah Weatherspoon for introducing me to the A1 trope that is marriage of inconvenience. Mason just made me swoon throughout the entire book. If Mason declared his love to me with his Scottish accent I would have folded immediately so I completely understand Xeni. Mason and Xeni were just perfect together and I knew I was going to love them as soon as I read their wedding scene. I just love how much depth they were given with such little page count. I felt like I’m coming out of this book knowing who Xeni and Mason are, they didn’t feel one dimensional and I love that for me. I’m always going to be the #1 defender for insta love like I’m sorry it can be a serve with the right author. Sometimes I just want to read about couples being in love and happy for most of the book sorry not sorry.
