"You really shouldn't trust a soul in this game. Not when everyone has something to gain or lose."
Nonononononono, oh god, nooooo! I'm not sure if I'll be able to write a review after what I just read ... ugh god, the end! *sobs heavily* Okay, I need to talk about other things first ... like, how AWESOME is this series?! I'm in love with the characters, J.L. Armentrout is an amazing author and her humor is gorgeous! Every book in this series get's better and better ... each side you read seduces you more and more and you can't stop, nope.
First off - THANK YOU for getting Dawson back! I really, really like him a lot and I'm so glad that the 3 siblings are reunited again. His friendship with Katy was such a big thing to me - seriously, I lived for those scenes! Not only helped it Dawson but also for Daemon it was important, I think. It felt so good to see him smile and the 3 of them having fun together and joking.
"His eyes were no longer green, just orbs of pure light."
Katy was awesome in this book! Badass and I even loved her more for that - she's so different now but still, kind of, the same girl. Her scenes with Daemon were always a highlight for me! You could feel the love they felt for each other without actually saying it - their actions, their looks and touches were enough to understand that they're meant to be, just perfect together. Ugh, Daemon was always so sweet and loving, understanding and comforting Katy when she needed him - he was always there for her. I loved their "quality time" and was always hoping for more ... they deserved it! And when they finally had some more time for each other, it was heaven!
"He silenced me with a kiss that reached a deep place inside that both thrilled and frightened me. When he kissed me, it was like he was reaching for my soul."
I don't want to talk too much about the plot itself ... it was surprising, sometimes confusing but always damn interesting and thrilling!
"I know that makes me sound selfish, but I am. I am incredibly selfish when it comes to you."
There were soooo many good scenes! So many things I wanted to point outbut seriously, just read the book/the series. It's totally worth it and you'll loved it! There's no other way ... you'll fall for Daemon's charm and Katy's awesomeness so easily, it won't be hard and take long, i promise. And you'll enjoy every minute you spend with those books, hugging them tight because of all the feels ... oh god, I'm already super excited for "Origin"!!!

Oh god, there's Blake first. When he first showed up again I was a bit excited ... yes he did some bad stuff but he was interesting, I still didn't like him and that DEFINITELY hadn't change now! What a bitch! At the end I knew he would betray them, betray Katy, but still I was shocked, noooo. I was so angry, I AM still angry! He's the reason everything went wrong ... THE ENDING! It was heartbreaking, oh my god. Daemons pain was so real and I felt so sorry for him but also for Katy of course ... and then he finally said the 3 words, noooo not that way, I can't handle Daemon in pain ... but I don't even want to think about what's going to happen to Katy - it'll be terrible. :("I know that makes me sound selfish, but I am.
