I thought the story and the worldbuilding were good, very Sanderson. However the characters needed a bit more work, there were strong beats and development but it all came a but too fast, without really learning who they were before.
I also thought some of the action was a bit clunky, just because the dialogue played a heavy role in a part of the book that’s supposed to be mostly visual. I get that the magic system required explaining, but I would’ve hoped a bit more show, don’t tell.
Overall still a solid read, I’d pick up a sequel.
