Although I liked the start, I wasn't a big fan of the alternating timelines and Alice vs Alais was honestly confusing at times.

This book sadly ended up on my dnf list, after being unable to get through the many uneventful pages. It's like one of those TV shows that only has drama at the end of the season, and I just couldn't deal with that for 700 pages.
