Honestly, not as mind blowing as Evelyn Hardcastle, but still a fun ride! Some of the way characters interacted seemed too easy for plot purposes which annoyed me at times. Being confined to the boat for the whole mystery added to the tension and the way fear was used to motivate the characters and readers was interesting. Turton really delves into the idea of what actually makes evil in the world and how much of the devil lives in each of us.
