ARC REVIEW
WTF was that ending? I'd like the next book, please. This book was everything and more. We start with Seraphine in the mortal realm before being transported to another realm. Then, we get to meet Dane, who hates her existence, but they get partnered up. The usual enemies to lovers just throw in shadows, a psychotic teacher, a deadly curse, and a mind-blowing secret.
With growing feelings and a deadly trial, what happens when she tries to figure out what's happening between them and herself?
I don't even know where to begin to unpack this book once I started I couldn't put it down. It was so different and so good. You can never actually guess what's going to happen next and in full honesty I would have never guessed that ending in a million years. You can see that Leigh put so much time and research with as much imagination in this book. This book had so much tension like so much forget the smut the tension was beyond hot, the push and pull of them hating how they wanted each other.
