A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham

4.0

I was impressed with this debut!  I love a great domestic thriller, and this one was on point with pacing, atmosphere, and relationship dynamics. I did figure out the twists and whodunit early on, but the journey getting there was still so much fun, in my opinion. There was a lot to like about this debut, and I think my very favorite thing was the Southern setting paired with a haunting atmospheric vibe.  I was excited to see that Willingham's next book will feature a similar setting... you can bet I'll be on the lookout for it!  ⁣
