I thoroughly enjoyed reading these short stories. I really enjoyed reading the Deceived. So when I saw this was coming out I knew I had to read it as the author doesn't reveal as to whom the shorts are on and I want to know more. I want to know of what made are characters who they were. That is provided here. It add a nice depth to them that is unforeseen in the The Deceived. And is remarkably written so that each person short sounds completely different in narrative. Fisher was able to give a voice to each of them. I was pleased with these short more than I have ever been with any short in which I've given time too.
