Bought this because the Fairyloot edition is really pretty.

I read this without a high expectation and I'm glad I did. It's cute. It's like a compact k-drama in book version.

It dind't disappoint but it also didn't deliver enough. I was expecting more conflict. The events are easy to picture but the characters aren't.

Not enough growth on the characters, IMO. The characters have surface level description but I can't have a good feel on their characteristics as a whole. I was expecting a bigger blow up at the end but I guess it would be too complicated.

The ending was simple and open but not really. I wish it had more on how they are like 5 years from then on. It's a very cute read and I appreciate the break in fantasy it gave but overall a 3-star for me. ♡
