I understand 100% I'm not the target audience for this, but when you have the MC complaining all the time, suspicious of literally everyone, lies to everyone, complains about her ex WAY too much, and the only good personality trait she has is being a caring mom (big surprise, most moms care unless they're toxic POS) it doesn't make for a cozy book but a domestic fiction which I didn't care for. I know she's going thru a divorce but she literally is in a new life now. Focus on that, not fucking GA.

The idea was good, but there wasn't a lot of magical shit going on or anything cozy besides describing pastries and coffee 24/7. The literal only cozy part of this book was the last 5 pages when the MC has a cup of tea and reads a book. Like, why was this so hard if you're tagging this as cozy?

Bad characters, the side characters were way better than the MC and we barely went into Portney at all.

Not reading more. Please work on making it "cozy" and not have a toxic MC.
