Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger

emotional hopeful informative mysterious reflective sad slow-paced

4.5

I found the characters very real and lovable (in spite of them being quite insufferable -but i suppose that's the point-) and enjoyed the subtle way in which the author took on the themes of grief, ego, greed, religion and family. i think i read this book at the right time and found it very human, vulnerable and touching.
