My 35th book finished in 2023.
I bought it in a second-hand bookstore in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I read it in Vietnam and left it in a book cafe in Hoi An.
It had potential. I was surprised that the mystery wrapped up half way through the book. Then for some reason, part two began in a Utah desert with new characters. I genuinely thought I'd accidentally started a new book. The middle section was so unnecessary, I was so bored of the backstory by the time we got back to London. This totally ruined the book for me.
