Insurgent was an absolutely incredible second book in a series. On most occasions, the middle book in a trilogy is more to get you from beginning to end - not much happens. However in Insurgent so much happens, its as though the story never paused. You can feel Tris' growth in the novel from beginning to end - her learning to cope with death and how she wants to live the rest of her life without these people. She becomes stronger because of it and learns more about herself than she knew before. Very excited to begin Allegiant tomorrow and finish the series up!
